Documentary-style photography is about witnessing rather than directing. It’s unposed, unscripted, and rooted in real moments as they naturally unfold. Guided by observation, patience, and intuition, it aims to tell honest stories without interruption or performance.

A documentary photographer photographs life as it is, the messy chaos, the connections between people, the small gestures, the in-between moments, and the larger milestones that shape a story. From everyday routines to significant transitions, nothing is too ordinary or too monumental. These images hold truth, preserve memory, and gain more and more meaning over time, becoming a quiet record of who we were and how we lived. Each session is unique and it might depend on how our session evolves.

I don't like to work with a tight time schedule and if the circumstances require me to, I will also come back, and we will have some additional time together. The session is usually finished when I think I got what we want.

Yes, there is a non-refundable retainer of 50% required to secure your booking. All monies must be paid prior to Photography Session.

In the unfortunate case of rain, we can either reschedule as close as possible to the original date or photograph an in-home or studio session.

I prefer natural posing without swaddling. I love to see their feet and hands. I usually gently position them with blankets or in your arms.

Newborn sessions are best held when baby is 4-21 days old, that's why I'd like to encourage you to book in prior to the birth so i can schedule you in.
But really, they are adorable at any age. I have the patience and experience to create a beautiful sessions at any age.

A travel time of up to 1hr is included. A travel fee of $50 per hour applies above that.

Usually, it takes me 3-4 weeks to deliver your gallery. This may vary depending on workload.

Ultimately this is your decision, but I strongly encourage you to find a connected color scheme of natural and neutral colors with no harsh patterns and logos.
Think browns, beiges and navy blues or rust.
Yellow, green and orange will affect my signature editing style and results may not be what you expect.
But in saying that, we can make anything work if carefully planned and talked through.

For Intimate portrait sessions, (this includes Maternity & Postpartum), I recommend showing as much skin as you are comfortable with in addition with casual looking neutral underwear.

Sharing my images, art and work is a huge part of being an artist. It attracts business and that makes it possible for me to support myself and offer my photography to clients.
At the same time, I completely understand and respect any wishes you may have to preserve your privacy. Perhaps we could agree on some non identity revealing images of hands, feet or hair/ back of the head. Please don´t hesitate to contact me if you have any further questions in regards to this topic.

Anywhere from 1 hour to 3 hours. I am trying to aim for 90 minutes but ultimately the session is done when I am happy with the images I got.
